Michael Rariden
Michael Rariden was born around 1828 in Ireland. He immigrated to America around 1848 and settled in Indiana. By the early 1860s, he was working as a laborer in Winchester, Indiana. He enlisted in the Union army on September 5, 1861, and mustered in as a private in Company G of the 8th Indiana Infantry later that day. The regiment took part in the siege of Vicksburg. Rariden died in Union City, Indiana, on December 20, 1863.
