Hannah Adeline Hollis
Hannah Adeline Hollis (maiden name: Holbrook) was born on February 27, 1840, in Randolph, Massachusetts, to Ludovicus Holbrook and Hannah Thayer. She married William Augustus Hollis on September 28, 1858, and they had at least two children: Ellsworth, born around 1864; and Omer, born around 1868. They lived in Braintree, and her husband worked as a boot maker. By 1870, they owned $900 of real estate and $200 of personal property. Her husband died on March 16, 1901. By 1910, she was living in her son Ellsworth’s household in Braintree. She died there of apoplexy on September 28, 1910.
