Isaac Booher was born around 1827 in Tennessee. He moved to Indiana by the late 1840s, and he married Mary Booher there on April 11, 1850. Their son Marcellus was born around 1859. They lived in Franklin, Indiana, and Booher worked as a farmer. By 1850, he owned $500 of real estate. A decade later, he owned $1,500 of real estate and $300 of personal property. He died in Indiana on April 17, 1894.
