Henry H. Womack
Henry H. Womack was born on November 20, 1841, in Mississippi to David Womack. The family moved to Trinity County, Texas, around 1855. He enlisted in the Confederate army and mustered in as a corporal in the 7th Texas Cavalry on August 31, 1861. He served until the end of the war.

Womack returned to his father’s household in Trinity County after the war. By 1870, he was working as a farmer, and he owned $1,000 of personal property. He probably got married in the 1870s, and he had at least two children: Sidney, born around 1876; and Lucy, born around 1878. His wife apparently died around 1879. He married Georgia Ann Mahala Lancaster on September 30, 1884, and they had at least five children: John, born around 1885; Archie, born around 1887; Henry, born around 1890; Alice, born around 1895; and Marselus, born around 1898. They lived in Justice, Texas, and Womack worked as a farmer. By the early 1900s, he was suffering from stomach cancer. He died on August 25, 1925.
