Elbridge Gerry Hall
Elbridge Gerry Hall was born around 1813 in Leicester, Massachusetts, to John and Nancy Hall. His father was a carpenter. He married Elizabeth Stearns in Worcester, Massachusetts, on April 27, 1837, and they had at least two children: Ann, born around 1844; and Charles, born around 1847. They lived in Worcester, and Hall worked as a carpenter. By 1860, he owned $2,500 of real estate and $350 of personal property. His hands were severely “injur[ed] by machinery” in September 1862, and he died in Worcester on September 20, 1862.
