Edward A. Landis
Edward A. Landis was born around 1835. By the early 1860s, he was probably living in New York City. On December 18, 1862, he received a commission as a 2nd lieutenant in Company G of the 176th New York Infantry. He eventually earned a promotion to captain. He mustered out on November 16, 1863, and he died sometime after leaving the army.
