Eleanor Ann Hardgrove
Eleanor Hardgrove was born around 1841 in Ohio to George and Martha Hardgrove. His father was a farmer who owned $1,800 of real estate by 1850. She grew up and attended school in Fox, Ohio. She married Joseph S. Foreman on September 24, 1861, and they had at least three children: Velma, born around 1868; Maggie, born around 1876; and Mattie, born around 1878. The family lived in Augusta, Ohio, and her husband worked as a carpenter. By 1870, they owned $700 of personal property. They moved to Fox in the 1870s, and she died sometime in the late 1800s.
