Pabuck (?) to George W. Browning, 8 April 1863
Columbus O. April 8.1863
Friend Browning
Dr Sir Bro
yours is just at hand and I hasten to ans.—
I saw the state ajt & he says there is no money in the paymaster funds nor has been since November to pay Officers but that Maj Sherman told him that he thought that within a week or ten days he should have money enough for general purposes to pay all such claims
I will look at the matter again as soon before I come home & see to it for you—I see no use for you to come here now I shall be home on the 16th if we do not postpon the adjumt
Very truly yours
Pabuck
