Sir I received your Letter in due Time and was well pleased to hear from you that you was well
I suppose you would like to here from the Center. Henry Fish is building him a House on his Lot. also M. Curtis has a Foundation laid for his House. H. Fish has the Job. Few other repairs are going on. The real estate of Lathrop Pixley deceased is to be Sold on the sixth day of December Mr Spafford Keeps the School this Winter. Mr Winchester has returned from the East to se about his affairs.
We are keeping up with the times as usual. We often think of you and wish you was with us, but we are far seperated from Each other. may Gods will be done if we never meet hear on Earth again may We trust to meet in Heaven./

My dear George
Monday Morning finds us all well as Mr Smith has ben writing some I find waste paper so I thought would fill it I have not much news I sent A long letter Wednesday. it seems a good while since I heard from you it was last tuesday & I have had them twice a week before I suppose you are busy or you have moved perhaps I shall get one to day if so I will tell before I /I send this. Wall doc Logee came here with Mary Woods Saturday eve I tell you I was surprised to see him & verry glad for I was feeling very lonely—we had A very good time we went to church Sunday & I came home & got dinner & Charles went & got carnes horse & we went to town with them Stoped at Marys staid A while doc went to Shereses to see Clarra Mcclure
She is there taking Muzic lessons will stay all winter I have not seen them yet Mary has lost her baby they feel verry bad doc said if he did not go home to day he should come out here in the stag & stay a day or two he likes ale you no & he can help himself. he is same old clown only he/feels bad A bout his Mothers death he has ben sick & he looks old & he has no mind atall he needs some one to tell him what he aut to do I hope he will get married before long if he dont he will be A fool he says he coming to Cleaveland to tend the old school College but no danger he has not stubility enough to do that he says we have A nice place here & he wishes he was setted down as well as we he said he would give a great deal if you was here he says you dont write to him. he has wrote some I will write on it and send it to you if I have time Emmet is building A boat & makes so much noise I cant half write I tell you he is A grat stout boy & just as smart as they make I think the world of him I will procede to docs letter
