Dear brother I thought I would write a little as the was room Mason has gone to bed and Ruben is a reading the newspaper our sleying left us in a hury it oneley lasted thre days it is a raining and snowing a little to knight I am in hopes we will have som more we C looked for Cinda last weak we do not hear eny thing from hur/we doo not know whether she is on hur way heve here or not I have bin a baking to day for a Donation party to Gustins Services for Elder D D Grey I wish Cinda was here to go with us I wish this wickid ware would come to an end and the poor solgers would come home to ther fraends and famileys but the is meny a one going to there long home never to returne Judson Stevens oldest Sun was killed at Fredrick Burge they take his deth very hard Dimmick Black sun is very sick in Washington Dimick has bin after him and couldnot get him I hope you will not wate so long without writing to us we began to feel very uneasy a bout you it was five weaks that we did not here a word from you we hurd that Charles folk had a letter from you we did not know as you intendded it for us too untill we got your letter we cent ours over as quick as we red it but we never have see theres—I have got such a hard paine in my side that I cannot write eny more I hope you will excuse this poor writing and spelling and except this from
