I received your present It come very exceptable to me I fell very much indeted to you for you kindness. It is something new for me to get presents I got my shawl It cost me 8.5d It was the chepest one I could find fit to wear I hope you will not think I inposed upon good nature by taking more then you sent me But I could do no better Sarah and Aurlia was braging about getting 10. Dollas apice for a christmas present I showed my shawl they thought It very nice present they wanted to know how much you sent me I told them 10$ so you did in the letter that was no story Sarrah was surprised to think you was so liberal to me George thinks It is a very nice/present to Sarrah Hinckley was here and spent the Evening last night I felt mad to think you did not get you box of things I sent all the butter I made in one week to you and went without my self I hope the fellow that got them will chock went he eats them No more at present.
