My Dear aunt
                        I had about made up my mind that you had gon from whence no traviler returnes but was happy to receive your leter and hear of your existence and good health that is a great blessing and one I highly prize cince I have good health you might think so if you were here to see me trot around I have walked to Granville this week after some traiding made Lucina a quilt and then walked home you wanted to know how Lucina is doing she is real healthy for her I hope you will wright to her soon/
 
She has got a fat little boy I think it is foar months old I dont know rather I told warren was mariade or not he marriad one of old (?) daughters at Monroeton they have got a baby I dont know what it is he is a poor object of firty She had one child before he had har by that old Negro that was hariter for Taylor I gaess you saw him Warren got acquainted with har at Rodrton and marriad har there they live to Monroeton a little ways from Dorletts I never went there Dorlett and Pim is well have no babys but Frank you woald not know him him Louisa has a mite little bleu eyed/girl the pride and pet of us all Lett has a fine little boy a year old last Aprill Dolphs folks are well live up on the old hanson farm he has bot it and paid for it Lucina has been verry sick all summer has not ben expected to live but is around again she lost a little boy Uncle Jakes folks was well the last I hurd from them Sylva is marriad to George Terry uncle Jerrima folks are all well Martha has got a boy Aunt Lecty is well feels verry bad a bout Luras death William and his sister were here in July he feels verry bad I did not get your leter till last Monday give my love and best respects to uncle George tell him to wright/to me I should enjoy reading a leter from him much and would like to see him and have a little fun Ill bet I wold laugh to see him perform with that bleu eyd boy should like to visit you dare say I would enjoy it but dont much think I ever can but hope you will come and see me when I get to keeping house I will tell you more about it in my next leter for you know there is many a slip between the cup and the lip but I will send you a piece of my dress the patern cost me 11 dolars and I have a book (?) to and a beautiful white bonet that cost 5 00 and a cloak that was 8 00 don’t you think that will do have made me 26 yds of carpet and seven nice bedquilts and got 2 nice linen table cloth shall live in Odessa Schuyler Co Ny if war dont prevent I will tell the rest next time I wright
