I was Glad to hear from you and no that Charles is discharged I was going to write to him But this will do as well Tell him the probbellity is I shall be home and if I was in his place I would go to school this winter I will take what Money he dont want and pay him when he wants it But he can do as he pleases I had to laugh about Pert My Lord She must be sick if Moses wants some pay you can pay him 10 or 15 dollars or so and let him wate till I see how things turn Charles was folish to hire a Lawyer to get his pay there is a man hired By the Government/for that very Purpose and he would get in exactly the same time without paying a lawyer 5 or 10 dollars Tell Charles he had Beter Go or Get some one to apply amediately for his pention The news has Just come that Cincinnati has Surrendered to the Rebils if that is so I guess we shall have Bussness nearer home But dont worry at all But if that is so you will not get this very soon I feel in My Bones that this war is coming to a head in some shape But dont you be excited if they come to Cleveland We will soon no the news/
I feel first rate since I got your letter it does me good How them poor Aboletionests must feel to tremble in their Boots God knows I hope they will draft. there is a man in Columbus to apply to Tell him to go and see doctor Everts and Get him to attend to it it needs attending to amediatily without fail Write often I will write again soon
