well George it is Monday morn I will put a few lines in as I have time before the mail goes
 
            the has not ben a man here only to the door on business we stay alone only once in while mrs Poe and pert comes to see us I to the office evry day and go in the house and stay awhile when they are at home mrs Richardson goes some where most every day and they have Uchar parties in the evening that’s all rite I wish we could get that trunk I would feel better the feight on the other tings a dollar and a half so it goes I shall/by more hay for the cow it has snowed three days and nights melted as fast as it comes this morning it is colder snows as hard as it can the Fishes all want to no how Potter is But they dont get enthing from me I tell them you say he is complaining some I think as much of people as ever I will write again in afew days if your fourtune is true you will be promoted till you are a big man Emmet wants to no if I am writing to Pa he says hurah for Pa come fech the baby & gun           C R B
