Der Son it was with pleasure that I recived your letter of the 19th and was glad to hear that you ar still ar well and that you have the prospect of having your head ceuard I expect the Docters propety that you ar garding is Union the docter I mean for it is Confiscation to rebles propety we ar all well as useale
I have lost my health in the Servis of my Country thirfore I shal not Complain I am glad that my son is still able to help to defend his country/
your aunts famaly is well and your Granmother is allso well your Uncle Edd is hear at Camp Cleveland he is well we have not had a letter from your uncle Henry in some time he was well when last heard from your Sister was at home a short time ago with an other young lady whose husband is in the army he is a lutenant I think she seid Der George we all want to see you verry mutch but we must wait untill our beloved Country can spair you to come/home I will not be selfish for thir is thousands that wish to see thir Friends your Mother has long talked of coming to see you and if she could lern that it would be safe for her she would try to come if she could get a pase hopeing that these few lines may fine you well I will cloase we remain your afectionate Parents
