                        Your letter is before me. Your husband sleeps in a grave marked by enduring Georgia marble. His grave is no 149 in Section 7 the first grave at the head of the row the numbering being from the northen end of the cemetery. The slab above his head bears these words—/

            46th Ala Infantry
            Died March 15, 1865
 
Any service I can be to you in verifying the records above given, in your efforts to secure your pension, I shall be glad to render.
