AT Fort Craig N,M,
Sir
You will confer a favor by giving me any
knowledge you may have or can obtain of the whereabouts of Amos F. Garrison formerly of the Sutlers dept at you post.
He wrote us that he expected to start for California in Dec, via Fort Yuma,
We have not heard of his safe arrival & do not know where to address him
An early reply will oblige his family and friends
