In camp at Ft Esperanses Texas, arrived here the 28th Nov / 63 We are doing Garrison duty As a general thing the weather warm but today the wind flew from the north, & was very cold, & froze over ½ inch of ice! The Regt found frozen fish on edges of Brough’s
