My Dear Sister
This cold Drisling rainy morning I sit down to write you another short note and to chide you a little about your tardiness in answering your Brothers letters I am well with the exception of a cold I hope you are all well at home although I generly find that out through other sources more than I do in letters frome my Sister.
We are not in winter quarters yet nor do not know how soon we will get in but I hope soon I shall come home on forlough this winter if Possiable but I can not promise for Shure. I wish you would send me 3 or 4 Postage Stamps to last me untill Pay Day whilbe Soon.
Give my love to Mother and write Soon than I shall answer with more length no more.
