Dear Frank
This morning I received your welcome letter but I cannot say all of the news it brought were so welcome it found me in the wash tub and with house cleaning on hand in the bargin but not so buisy but what I could lay matters aside for a few moments to and pen a few to you Dear Frank I feel very sorry for you and I wish I could see you but as that is an impossibility/I will hope for the best trusting ere long to see you down I do not think your visit to the woods was a very fortunate one but as you say there is no use to complain you were certainly lucky to escape unharmed as long as you did you were telling me you had learned the lesson of patience well perhaps you will have a chance to excercise it a little Dear Frank I hope you may speedily recover and when you are able to come I will be glad to see you and do all I can for your comfort Frank I awnswerd your first letter but not the same week you wrote yours I received/yours of Teusday and on the monday after I wrote and directed to Caledonia Elk Co as you told me was I not right Frank please excuse my writing I know it is misrable but I have worked so hard for the last few days and last night I staid up nearly the whole night and washed as hard as I could till nearly twelve and up again at three and the consequence I am both Nervous and drwsy With love and best will wishes I will close write very often as I shall be anxious to know how you are getting abing along
