My Dear Agnes

this beautiful sabbath I find it a pleasure to be seated to write you another letter hoping it may reach you in due time and find you as it leaves me in perfect health not you alone but all the rest of the family. I suppose the high water drove a great many of the families out of their houses from what accounts I have read in the papers there has been a greatdeal of damage done I expect it will bother me some to get home I cannot find out whether the cars are runing/from harrisburg to Wmsport when you get this please write to me and let me know if the cars are runing from Harrisburg to Wmsport. I am anxiously waiting an answer from you as I want to know what day you have set and whether your mother has sold I tell you I am a gooddeal worried but I must make the best of it and do the best I can under present circumstances. I intend leaving here on the 8th or tenth of April if nothing happens to prevent it. in answer to this one give me full particulars of the recent flood and also what arrangements you have made about housekeeping that is owing to arrangements between you and your mother so when I come I can be fully prepared to make/suitable arrangements. accordingly this my Dear Agnes has been a month of thought and anxiety to me never before in my life has my mind been so much taken up and as I am not yet rid of my many anxious thoughts I suppose you are not without some such thoughts yourself. but I have said too much already as it may make you feel sad so I will close hoping soon to see you my love to one and all your affectionate lover
