Peter Glackin
Peter Glackin was born around 1831 in Ireland. He eventually immigrated to America and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. By 1860, he was working as a laborer. He enlisted in the Union army on August 31, 1861, and he mustered in as a private in Company D of the 69th Pennsylvania Infantry on October 31. The regiment took part in the Peninsula campaign and the Second Battle of Bull Run. He was wounded at Second Bull Run, and he died in Chantilly, Virginia, on September 1, 1862.
