I thought that I would wright to you to let you now that I am well but I hope this letter will find the same too I havent receive eny of yoour letters not yet but I thought that I would wright to you if I dind git eny letters from you but I think that you havent wright to mee but I thooght that you would like to hear from mee but I should like to hav you send mee som papers to mee ihavent got any thing to reed but a bible I reed that twice a day I most let you now how that we live on the iland we hav/som soft bred and [?] we hav solt bef fish rise beens baking pork it is all of it is not soaked eny And we sleep on the soft side of the boards it isent very worm not yet one of our guns boats brot in teen little fishing smacks the north caroline gun boat capert a larg steam boat this is the last prise I most finsh my letter by saying good by jimey green sends his best specks to you all dudlie ses that he should like to see all and i should like to see you you all too
