Dear Mary
I know take the opportunety to write you a few lines to let you know that I am well and injoying good times with the boys and feel Condented and have enough to eat and driant I shall heare leave heare next Tuesday but I dont know whare we shall stope next all the Boys are in good sprites spirets Albert Moulton and I bunk together and feel first rate all the boys are clever that we Camp with I thought Tell Theorder Grant that he is a fool for not coming with us and a coward and a mean raskle. how is John now I should shough like for you to see me now I would not leave now if I Could that is true/
if you get this letter and have a chance to cend down befor we gow I want you to cend me down some thread buttons Yarn and tell John that if he hase a chance to cend me down a vest I will cend his home but I Could not cend it with my other close because I could not get along with it my meeting vest would not be big enough dont be oneasey a bout me for I am all rite I have two paire of drays on and a nother paire cleane ones dont you write if you cant get it down hear befor next Tuesday give my love to that may inquire for me I shall have more to write you the next time I must close by saying good by
