                                                                        You are hereby notified that Amos Cochran of your company has been paid on my Rolls to Aug 31st 1863 by Major Norris, Paymaster U.S. Army.
            His Clothing account was last settled to April 30th 1863. There was issued to him July 28th 1863 Clothing to the amount of $8.27 Eight Dollars and Twenty seven cents.
