Describtion of Smith Daniels a private of Co. E 48th Regt O. V. I. U. S. A. sent to the Hospital. (on account of disibility) on 16th day of April 1862 Aged 24 years in height 5 ft. 8 in Dark complexion, hazel eyes black hair and born in the county of Miami and State of Ohio, occupation a farmer and enlisted on the 16th day of september 1861 at west Milton Ohio by Capt. John J. Ireland. dec. for the term of three years unless sooner discharged.
