Dear Sir,
                   You will perceive from the inclosed letter that mr Hunkleman is trying to get the bounty money of his son who was a member of your Company and was taken prisioner and reported as missing. If you have any evedence of his death please fill up the inclosed blank and return it to this office (to Mr Hunkleman).
 
Mr Levi Etter may be of service to you in acertaining the dates &c
