Bertram N. Jones
Bertram N. Jones was born around 1827 in Vermont. By 1850, he was working as a clerk in Richmond, Vermont. He served as postmaster of Jonesville, Vermont, from December 30, 1850, until August 1, 1852. He married Josephine A. Rhodes on November 23, 1855, and their daughter Bertha was born around 1856. During the Civil War, he worked as the sutler for the 7th Michigan Infantry. He died in 1862 or 1863.
