Dear wife it is with plesure that I improve the time to let you know that I am well at presant and hope theas few lines will find you all the same we have moved camp since I roat to you before but we have found quarters all raidey bilt if thay will onley let ous stay in them but our Cornell is so potickler that I am afraid it wont soot him and how long thay will let ous stay hear we cant tell but I hope thay will be satesfied/ to let ous stay hear the rest of the wintar we got those things you sent in Empys box all rite and I had got my lettar seald so I toald John to tell father to let you know how it was you think it was but few things you sent ous but it gave ous more satisfaction than five times that amount would at home not mearly the worth of the articals but to know that our friends at home had sent them to ous and know that we was loved and respected at home and may God grant that our lives be spared to meat our famileys and/ friends as citiysens once more we can tell you then the fealings of A soaldier bettar than we can write it to you thare is not mutch to write so no more at presant my love to all and believe me now and ever your
