                                                                                                            Dear wife it is with plesure that I emprove the time to answer your kind lettar of the 14th whitch came to hand last night and was glad to hear from you I am well at presant and hope that theas few lines will find you all enjoying the same blessing from God we have moved our quarters down to the railroad whare thame 3 companes went that I toald you of before so now thare is 4 companes hear and 6 comp on the oald ground about half a mial part we have bin moving all week and we have to day to fix up our tentes it was so coald yestarday that we could not work on our tentes but it is a littal warmer this morning Orsen Wood has got A furlow and he startes to day and if I get this roate in time I will send it by him Mr Edgert we got his furlow for him on the acount of his father being sick and Mr Edgert being A freemacion had more enfluence than most aney/ one elce we have not got our pay yet and we comence to think that wee wont get it before next mounth and then have four mounth pay try and get A longe as well as you can for I know it is hard times thare as well as every whare elce keepe the place if you can but if you nead the money that I send home for aney thing elce yues it Oh Mary if I could com home as often as my minde is thare I would be thare most of the time but I hope the time is near at hand when we can enjoy the society of each other again John is well as yesial Frank is well and drives the muels yet Dear Mary it dos seame as if I must fly to see you if it is A shorte time but God knowes what is for the best so let ous put our truste in him and all thinges will turn out well thare is no news to write this time write oftan you canote write to oftan and believe me now and ever your loving

I will send A littal book for Ella that I got hear from the sanertary comisionary society and would like to of got one for bell but could not
