            Dear Henry
Inspection is just over and I have taken my seat in the Doctors room as usual, quite relived for the rest of the day. inspection passed off all right; every particle of dirt was frightened out of sight, and every boy a sitting right side up with care. I have now in my Ward 18 Patients. a lot came in a few days ago from the invalid-Corps on the hill I belive believe they were all sent to the 4th floor, none of them are very sick. Isaac has only four diets to bring up. Matters and things are going on very nicely and I believe very pleasantly in the Hospital. I hear of no trouble, and I think you better stay just as long as you can, for there is nothing new taken place since you left. we are all having very easy times there is so little to do. Miss Wood/ is very sick just now with fever, Miss Burghardt has not yet returned from Gettysburg. the rest of us are all well. Mrs Berry wishes to be remembered to you and also M Mrs Pomroy her son George has been promoted to first Lieut.

I received your first letter which you wrote me before you reach home and I answered it. I am sorry you did not receive it. I directed it as you told me. I hope you may receive this and write soon again.
                                                            Yours truly
                                                                        A. Findlay
