Henry B. Drake Furlough, 7 October 1862
The Bearer hereof H B Drake a private in Captain Harris’ Company 130th reg Illinois Volunteer Militia, aged 25 years five  9/12 high light complexion light hair and by occupation a farmer, born in the County of Bond and State Illinois and enlisted Millersburg in Bond County and State of Illinois on the 12th of August 1862 to serve for three years, is hereby permitted to the return to the place of his enlistment he having received a furlough from the 7th to the 14th of October at which period he will return to his company or regiment at this place or wherever it then may be; or be considered a deserter
