Dear Father
                        I am somwhat at a lose how to wright to you to day I hav not recieved any word from you since the letter you wrote may the fifteenth which was wat at hand in due time my health has improved very mutch lately I am not sertain that you hav got any of my letters lately thoug I hope you have I stated to you in my last that I was very anxious to come home and so I am if it is posible I thik you would be allowed to com to see mee if it wer adviseable for you to leave home dont put yourself to any unnesesary truble about me tell ma that I think of home constantly and the happy days when I was a naughty disobedient Boy the healthe of our northen home is very good at presant you must wright to me often for I love know that I have friend that care for me though I am a Prodigal Son
