Dear Father
I scarsly ever get a letter from you or any of the Familey I do not know that you get mine but but that as it may I wright to you just as sure as evry weak has one Friday I can not account for the Reason but one thing is sure I seldom get a letter now I am enjoying very good health at this time and I hope that when this reaches you that you all may bee well though I am a feraid that somthing has happened Charley Gardner has not got a woord from home in a month only through one of my letters the health of the Boys is very good at this time I have some rings that I would send in my letters if I thought that they went regularly
I recieved your money $5 that you sent this is the second time that I have wrote to you since I recieved it I can but hope that I will get your letters in the future
Give my love to ma and the children
and receive a good portion to
