Dear Father
                        Yours of the twenty 6th of June was gladly recieved day before yesterday It found me enjoying very good health I am nearly entirely well of the Rumatism thoug I am pesterd at times you say that Clintons health is bad this sumer I am very sory that such is the case and sincierly hope that he will soon bee well I am very anxious to bee at home I am wary and need rest and hope that I will be able to come home and stay I want you to take the very best care of that Colt that you say shall bee mine when I come for you may have it to rais before I get to see it tell Theo that she may ride him untill I come home and she must make Ritchard Thomas feed him for me tell Cornelious & Clinton that they must wright to me oftener than they do or I shall forget what sort of boys they are I think that it is most time for Cornelious to wrigt and let me see how mutch he has improved in the last three months for I think that it has bin that long since he wrote I never can repay your kindness to me though I shall try my very best since I have bin at this place you still offer to send money I spend as little as posible do not send my cloths untill I wrigt for them I have some money yet and will let you know before I get out tell me if sister is at school yet give my love to ma and all the Children and recieve a good portion to yourself W.
