Dear Father
                        I will attempt to wrigt you afew lines this morning as it is sunday I preferr making it my day to wrigt to you in future the beautys of the mornings sun are shut up by heavy Clouds and evry object looks sad and dreary and I must cofess that I feel as surrounding nature looks though I am well thanks be to an indulgent providence I started mas and sisters rings last Sunday which I hope they will get in due time I sent foure rings I expect they were Expressed and will go safly throug. Clintons letter of the seventeenth was recieved on they twentyth three days on they road. I want some more money five or tenn dollars as it may suit you I am very sory that I have to pester you for money I do not spend any for tobace I seldom ever touch it since I was sick the question may arise what dose he do with it then I buye Bred with the most is the true answer you must wright often tell the boys that they must wright they do not improove much I am a fraid I want to hear somthing about tomy if he is dead or alive I mean sisters old pett
