Dear Father
                        it is a question of som interst to avry one of you I do not not in the least doubt as to when shall I come home and truly it is a hard problem to solve but I do hope and Earnestly pray that before very long the happy moment will bee realised by us all I want to see my home once more and worse than all I would love to bee with you ma & the Children to enjoy for once again the happy hours the happy days that I have spent in your congenial society & of all things that I strive to attain this shall bee my rooling pashin though it may never be attained but still it is not imposible the sun does not shine fore a few trees and flowers but for the wide woorlds joy the lonely pine on the mountains top waves its its sombre boughs and cries though art my sun and the little meddew violet lifts its cup of blue and whisppers with its perfumed breath though art my sun and the grain in a thousand fields rustles in the wind and makes awnswer though art my sun so God sits Effulgent in heaven not for a favored few but for the Univeres of life and you and I may say though art my sun and never fear I am enjoying splendid healt and hope I will as long as I stay hear I have not not recieved a letter since the twentieth of this month tell ma & sister that I sent them four rings on the sixteenth they must divid wit mollie & Theo.
