            Dear Father

                                    I hav not recieved a letter from you since last saturday was a weeake ago I wrote last sunday acknowledging the recept of it and according to promis I shall wright evry sunday on the sixteenth of last July I sent ma & sister four Rings but have not learned from your letters that you ever got them I hope that you have my health is good Charly Gardner is sick at the Hospital with the flux I heard from him yesterday he was better & thought that he would bee well in a short time you must lett his Father know that he is sick allso Mr Fields that Emmit is at this place and has bin ever since in June You stated in your last that thare was a sevier drouth in your part of the woorld wee have had sevral refresshing rains hear in the last few weeaks I would love very much to be at home with you all I hope I will in a short time you must wright to me often for I love to read letters from home I have evry one that I have recieved from you since I have bin at this place Tell Ritchard Highsmith & William Hoskins that they must wright to me for I cannot wright to them and you I rote to you in sevrall of my last letters for som money five or Tenn dollars as the case may suite you perhaps you have sent it if you hav waite till I wright for mor
