Dear Brother
                        some time has past since I wrote to you so I will pen you a few lines this morning. wee have a beatiful day once and a while though it is seldom it comenced snowing hear last Thursday and continued to snow untill Friday night the snow is on the grown yet though it is clear and very cold. I would love to bee at home to go with you a hunting I think this would bee a spendid time in tennessee for sport I recieved Cornelious letter last weake and was very sory to hear of Carry Bagwells death I can deeply simpathise with hear distressed Parents I am in tolerable health at this time though pestered a greate deale with cold pa spoke of you in his last he saide that your health was not very good you must take good care of your self and I hope that you will soon bee well it is very cold and I can not tell you much so I will close the health of the boys is very good at Presant give my Respects to all Enquiring friends Remember me to Mama papa and all the children
