Mr T. J. Fry
                        Dir Sir it is with the greatest pleasure that I seat my self to answer your letter of the 14th of Sept which I recd on yesterday and allso a Box of Clothing which I recd on the same day from Miss Jennie Monlove. I canot find words suficiant to Express my self to you for the kindness which you and others have showed to me in and so I shal let it pass until I have an opertunaty of doeing so verbeily which I hope will not be long Wesley has recd the articles which you sent in my Box he is well and sends his love to you
 
                        Mr Fry you will please se Miss Jennie and the other Ladies who were concerned in getting up my Clothing and give them my kindest regards as I cannot write again before next week and say to them that the Box of Clothing and the $10 in money have ben recd for which they will please accept my most cincear and heartfelt thanks
 
                                                                                                but it is growing late and will have to bring my letter to a close write soon beleave me as ever your
                                    true friend
