Dear Brother
Cornelious letter of November the 21st is the last letter that I hav recieved from home that found me enjoying very good health the wether is very cold hear with the exception of a few days of sunshine occasionly the health of the Boys is very good better than could bee expected under existing caircumstances you must take good care of the colte Cornelius says is to bee mine when I come home keepe him fat for I can not tell when I shall come home I hope that it will bee soon and then I shall neede him to ride I hav bin stabled up so long that I expect I would fail if set a foot I am a little puseled how to wright to you when I hear so little but however you must excuse me as I am unavoidably placed in this condition Mr Stoaks recieved his money and clothing some time since for which he is very thankfull Give my Respect to all
