Dear Father
                        Yours of November the twenty Eighth came to hand own the fifth of this month it found me sound and in my wright mind and in the midst of the very coldest weather the snow is six or seven inches deep and the wind as Blustery as you ever seen I hope this may find you all enjoying the Best of health and making your selvs comfortable I recieved a letter from Uncle Jackson yesterday wrote own the second himself and family wer well. I will awnswer his own next sunday so it will bee sunday weak before I can wright home agane tell Theo that I am glad pa says so much for her she sertainly is a sweet child pretty and smart twoo I will kiss her name but had rather kiss her I was very sorry to hear of Miss Ellen Poors Death alas that such men should bee allowed to run at large I can deeply simpathise with her friends and hope the man that commited such a crime may bee delt with severly pa send me tenn dollars in your next letter my money is nearly out I Endever to get along with out much money but it is allmost imposible but I will not make excuses for that would bee ridiculous wright often and I will do the saime
