Dear Father
I recived yours of the ninth yesterday and was glad to hear from home again
it was nearly three weeaks since I had heard from home I recieved Clintons letter of the fourth yesterday allso he signed his name S. C. I guess it waws a mistake I hav nothing of importance to tell you this morning all is quiet in the prison I hope the time is not farr off when I may come home in peace and stay I shall not meddle with any boddys ware the next time but hope this may bee the laste in my day and time
I wrote to you last suday to send me tenn dollars in your next you must bee governed intirely by your own Judgment I woulde bee receited for any amount you coheld send but as long as I can correspond with you tenn dollars at the time will bee sufficient the Inspector says to wright only one page of letter paper
you hav bin wrighting twoo at once
wright often if you do not wright much
Give my love to ma and all the children
