Dear Father
                        I recieved my money last monday also yours of the fifteenth Ed Rose and others are well I learn that Mr Rose is ded was killed in springfield during Christmass I learn allso that his conduct one that occasion was the cause of his death you mentioned in one of your letters in this month for me to come home I wrote in awnswer for you to have me relieased if you could own petition I learn that Mr Holman of Robertson County will start to washington Citty soon for that purpose see him if conveniant and have me set at libberty I do not think that it will bee very much Expence not half so much as if I stay in prison during the ware which is sertain unless I am released otherwise Give my love to mama & all the Children Wesley.
