consieration i speak to them from expiriance they are two young by three years do noot think because that I have com out into the servise and indured so mutch that they can do the same thing it is a mistak it is often the case that the stouts men wee have are the very men that becom worn out and not able to travel and sevrill times have I seen them left unable to help themselves Colman Highsmit and ritchard Jones are both well and in the ver best of spirits reather one of them got hurt in the battles around Jackson John Hoskins got woundd in the hip Rufus Felts / was wounded in the heal bothe severly wee had sevral casualitys in our regment but none in our company Excuse my bad wrighting and I will try do better in my next for thee presant I will close praying god all mighty to preserve you all for the presant I will close
