Dear Sister
the mail has just come in and with it I got a letter from you dated the 24th of feb I was very glad to hear that you was well as to me I am well and tuf my arm is doing well allso I am not on duty yet all I have to do is to cook for the mes that I belong too. thare is five of us in one tent just imagine five in a tent about ten feet squir we have got so us’t to it that we do not mind it at all. if you / had come along by my tent about a half an hour ago you would have seen me washing dishes I sppose you think that we have not got anything nice Our dishes are made of the jenuine tin thare is no danger of brakeing them we have some straw on the ground after role call which is at half past eaght P.M we spread the straw all over the bottem of our tent we lay our Poncho’s on the straw and one blanket the rest we put over us we ain’t aloued but one blanket apeace but I have two one was given to me by Uncel Sam the other
