                                                                                    March 9th 1862.
 
Dear Mother I recived your letter to day and was mutch pleesed to here from you. I got a letter from Mollie to day She is well we have very knice wether here now the peaches  treese are all out in Bloom the beach trees are comag out in leefs it is very knice wether here we are all writing home now we are writing a / famley letter that is what we call it the Boys are in good spirets it is so knice here well I cant think of mutch to write this time, for I have not mutch time to write. Luke is in a great hury for to send it out I here that Cornal Mor is triing to recrute for five years well I must close so write soon
