Mary I shoulden written this morning but I believe forgot to tell you where to direct the other morning or day when I wrote. My shoulder pained me so I couldent tell whether I was a writing or what. but maby I will get round so to do a little better in a few days. if you have written to me the letters will be sent from the regt. the reason was I dident write to you before was becaus I couldent get the letter to go. we dident have any communications from Washington to the regiment all the time we wer a fighting and on the march / but long as I am in the hospital I can get the letters out and get them from you. So you must write as often as once a week and I will try to do the same. tell Bil[?] to write and give a history of all that is a going on. how does Bub and and Lib get along keeping house. I had a dream about Delil last night and wish I was there to tell it to her. ask her how that broken arm gets along what was its name I have forgoton. well I will close Please give my love to all inquiring /
