Dear Cousin &
Dear Brother I received you letter yestday & it gave me great pleasure to hear from my friends once more Byron you say you spent the 4 mo Ludlow I didnt know but what you & Ranty went to Ruttland you think that you shall not stay thear all summer do you it is a pretty hard farm to cary on Byron I cannot think of much more to rite this time we are haveing haveing very warm weather out her one more month & the warm weather will be prety much gorn I sopose you have got the letter I rote you before this time have you not Byron /
I have writen to father & mother & am a gowing to send them together Ranty I shall expect to see your minature in the next letter I get from Home. Byron & Ranty I expect you are eather to meeting or to Weston to day I have been in to a meeting House to day to meeting here is a very nice brick Charch here not but a few steps front of us just big enough for our Rigerment to get in we had a meeting in it this fore noon thear is to instruments to play on in the Chourch that they left it seemed good to go in to a meeting House once more it lookes as well as ours to us We are well Byron & Ranty I cannot think of much more to rite this time so I will close for now for the mail will soon go out
