is the reason I cannot get a letter from you I have not received a letter since I left home the maile comes to our Regiment evry day the boys all get letters from home but me I cannot get any. can it be possible that you do not write to me. the letters that come to the boys are all directed to my care and they come to hande but I cannot get one directed to me personaly when the maile comes in I ame first at the office and but to be disapointed we moved our camp as I informed you in my last we was about to do. we are five miles from Bardstown a drilling harde evry day quite a number of our boys are sick Elisha Bagby is nearly deafe with a colde in his heade tell Mrs Aspinwal her boy is doing well direct your letters to me Captain Keller Bardstown Kentucky 47 Regt Ind Vol this is the last letter I write to any person without an answer. if you are all deade it is no use writing if you are alive and write I will answer amediately if you cant well write get some one to do it for for you yours
